Shipping and Return Policy

We will make every effort to ship each and every order within the shipping deadlines and to complete customer satisfaction. We guarantee all items we ship will have the general look and product assortment as the photos used to represent them.

Payment can be made by PayPal or credit card and shall be due before dispatch of goods.  It is the sole obligation of the client to provide valid and correct information to pay for any and all orders placed. If your payment fails your order will be cancelled within 14 days, unless you contact to specify otherwise.

All orders must be completed with the correct address, city, state, zip and Country. We will not be responsible for an order being delivered to wrong place or being delivered late when a bad address is supplied. Delivery will be made to the address specified through our checkout when you complete your order. Claims or requests for refunds on orders returned due to a bad address will not honored. Claims for late deliveries due to incomplete or incorrect addresses will not be honored

In the event you need to make a change to an order you must contact us on the day the order is scheduled to ship. If you contact us after the order has been picked up by the carrier we will make every effort to make the correction with the carrier’s assistance. We will not be held responsible for orders delivered late or lost due to a carrier’s inability to make a correction.

We will require you to cover the delivery charges for the redirection (please note re-direction is only available for goods dispatched via courier).

Orders are aimed to be delivered within 7-15 working days after dispatch. Please note a working day is any day other than weekends and Bank or other Public Holidays. If order is requested to be delivered by courier service, please ensure you provide an address, where someone will be available to receive the delivery. If you do not contact the courier within 2 days of receiving the notice card of “no person available on address”, the goods will be returned and a re-delivery charge may be applicable to your order.

In the case of express deliveries, if the goods are not received in 3-7 working days please contact us immediately as after 7 working days of dispatch, the courier may return the goods to us. In the event of re-dispatching the goods or in the event of redirection shipping charges may apply.

The end receiver is liable to any and all customs charges and/or local release charges of their country, state, province territory.  In the case of these deliveries ownership of the goods transfers to the end receiver when the goods arrive at the destination.

Upon making the order with us, you agree that we are not responsible for parcels which were seized by a customs house on the territory of your country.

It is the customer’s responsibility to determine whether Internet purchases of any item in their country or area are prohibited under local laws. In the event that the customer is charged duty upon receiving the parcel, they have a choice to pay the duty or refuse the package, in which case the package will be returned to us and you will receive a refund for the order, but not the shipping charges.

If you are eligible for a refund, we will refund you back to the method of payment you used when you originally paid for your order. The refund amount will be the total amount you have paid for the particular order.

Please note: it is your responsibility to advise us of any changes to your PayPal email address.

Order can be cancelled only before shipping. All the shipped out order cannot be cancelled.

We will make every effort to ship and fill all orders received. However if an order cannot be filled we will notify the customer within two business day. The refund will be credited back to your original method of payment. Additional credits will not be offered in the event we cannot fill an order. We will not substitute an item without contacting you.

Damaged or defective item

If you receive goods that are damaged, defective or incomplete on arrival, you must notify us within 72 hours of receipt of the item in writing (by e-mail at sales@houseartware.com or by using the Contact Us page on the website), to obtain a Return Applied Number (RAN) in order for us to accept your return.

We will issue a return label in PDF format by email that you can print and place on the original shipping box

All returns must be in the original box, in unused condition, with all accessories / manuals and must have RAN marked on the shipping box.

The Returns Department here will contact you if additional details are needed or if there is a problem with your RAN request.

Delays may occur if we are having an issue with the return. An example of an issue that may arise is finding that not all parts were returned, the item was not deemed as actually being defective/damaged.

We do not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.

The buyer will be responsible of return shipping charges and restocking fee of 10% if item is returned without any reason such as defective or damaged.

In the event of an item returned to HOUSEARTWARE.COM not arriving, you will be asked to provide tracking details (where applicable) or a receipt of proof of postage.

If an item(s) is returned to HOUSEARTWARE.COM without any written communication, and not in line with our returns procedure, HOUSEARTWARE.COM will not compensate for any transport costs involved.

Once we receive the return we will credit your account within 5 business days.

Lost in mail

Although we use mail services with tracking number but if you don’t receive your item after specified shipping period please contact us by email.

We will investigate with mail service and either we will replace the item or we will give you a new delivery date.

Wrong Item delivered

If, by mistake we supply you with an incorrect item, you must notify us within 2 days of receiving.  If you wish to return the item for replacement it must be in lines with our Returns Procedure.

If you are happy with it you are free to keep the item, depending on the value of the item if it is lower than the ordered item any refund for a difference in value will be issued, conversely if the item is of higher value than a PayPal request will be sent for the difference.

No replacements will be made if a customer is dissatisfied with the color of any product which is listed as having varying colors in the description.  If a customer wishes to return a varying colors item due to its color it should be returned in line with the returns procedure and a refund in full will be given for the original item cost, no refund will be made for carriage fees involved.
